GIVE
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corintians 9:7
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. Acts 2:44,45
The Christian Church is characterized by its giving. We as redeemed and adopted children of God have been given so much through the atoning death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ that we by our new nature are compelled to be givers. We do not give out of duty or to expect anything return, we give because we love. We give because we are richly provided for by our heavenly father.
Aletheia Tampa is a non-profit organization and survives entirely on donations and support. In order for God’s mission to be accomplished on the campus of USF and the surrounding Tampa area, we must depend on each other to follow Christ’s example and give. More specifically to give cheerfully, sacrificially, and intentionally.
There are three simple ways to give for either regular offerings or one time donations; all of which are counted as tax-deductible gifts:
