Advancing God’s Truth
Aletheia (pronounced ah-lay-thee-ah) is the Greek word for “truth”. We are a group of Christians who desire to develop a church that targets the University of South Florida and the surrounding community, using a Biblical model which combines relevancy and orthodoxy (God’s unchanging truth revealed in the Bible), in order to spiritually mobilize a generation for Christ.
Aletheia exists to spiritually mobilize a generation for Christ.
In the coming weeks, months, and years, we desire to see thousands of young lives Won for Christ, Baptized, Discipled, Equipped, and Sent out. This will all be packaged in one of the most innovative, enjoyable, and passionate experiences that anyone could ever be a part of.
A Network Of Churches
Aletheia Tampa is just one of a handful of college churches comprising the Aletheia Network. Starting churches on college campuses allows us to reach out, minister to, and train up a new generation of Christ followers right where they live and study. Aletheia Tampa is part of the national and global vision for the Aletheia Network to reach college age men and women and equip them for ministry in whatever vocational setting God calls them to.
We are a church for both the university and the surrounding community.
At the same time, Aletheia is a church for the surrounding community. Whether college student or not, young or old, Aletheia exists to minister to, teach and equip, and be a family for those in our Tampa Bay community. Already comprised of students, working professionals, young families, and grandparents, Aletheia Tampa aims to be a true biblical community of all generations.
